Early Childhood Development Practitioners Training:

In today's demanding world, educating and raising a child is a real challenge!! Enrol at the ECD Campus for Early Childhood Development Practitioner Training and ensure that you are well equipped for parenting and the job market. Upgrade your current ECD qualification.

The ECD Campus is one of the first training centres to offer Early Childhood Development Practitioners training courses registered with SAQA. Learners obtaining our qualifications will be equipped with the best relevant skills to teach children from birth to grade R (reception year).

Full time courses, In-Service training programmes for un- or under qualified pre-primary schoolteachers Learners will acquire recognised SAQA qualifications up to Diploma level.

ECD is located at the corner of 56 Kgosi Mampuru and Johannes Ramokhoase streets.

The following courses provide specialised training and personality development of practitioners for the efficient caring and education of the young child (0-6 years), based on the new curriculum.

Attend contact classes 3 days (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) a week. Do practical training on Tuesdays and Thursdays at approved pre-school centres and Grade R classes at Primary Schools. Work in groups, sharing knowledge and skills. Use our IT Centre to do research on ECD related topics. Learn to apply Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) in the pre-school and Gr. R. Trainers will visit you frequently at your workplace for assessment.
