COLLEGE SELECTED CENTRE OF SPECIALISATION FOR TWO TRADES

On 3rd October 2017 industry associations and occupational specialists in partnership with Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) announced two colleges that have been selected as Centres of Specialisation for training in each of thirteen priority trades. Tshwane South TVET College was awarded a certificate for Centre of Specialisation for Fitter and Turner, and Centre of Specialisation for Mechanic Fitter for Centurion and Pretoria West Campuses respectively. These certificates were presented to the College by (then) Minister of DHET Dr Blade Nzimande and by respective representatives from Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (SEIFSA).
These trade certificates will ensure that the College build the capacity to deliver quality trade programmes.
